How does the reward system work?
If you lose an item and have chosen to offer a reward for someone returning it, we will charge your credit card or PayPal account upon us receiving your lost item. Once we verify that it's yours, we ship your item back to you as well as pay the reward to the finder. We don't even take a cut - we want to make sure there's every incentive possible
How does someone return my lost item to me?
Once they notify us that they found a lost item by entering the ID # on the homepage, we immediately make arrangements to have the lost item shipped to us here at Rewarding Return. After we receive it and verify that it's yours, we'll ship it right back to you. Most lost items are shipped back to the owner within 48 hours.
What kind of stuff needs Rewarding Return labels?
Anything of importance or value to you. Cell phone, MP3 player, laptop, wallet, keys, CD Player, backpack, tennis racket, golf clubs, sunglasses, etc.
How do I get Rewarding Return protection?

Simply click "Activate" and follow the steps. It should only take about 2 minutes
What happens if I lose something?
Let the Rewarding Return Label do its job! Whoever finds your lost item will discover that there is a reward for its return and how easy it is to do so. After they report it lost on our website, you'll be notified immediately.
How does the finder of my lost item receive their reward?
We take care of everything. We hold their reward in escrow until we have your lost item in our possession and it's verified. Once both are confirmed, we send you your item back and them their reward. It's that simple, and that secure.
How will you know that it's my item?
Not only will this item still have your Rewarding Return Label on it with personal ID number, but you will also type in a brief description of your item upon activation so that we'll know for sure this is your lost item.
How much should I offer as a reward?
It's up to you! We encourage an amount that is worth the hassle and cost of replacing your lost item; as well as something enticing to the finder of your item. We suggest a minimum reward of $20. But imagine how much you'd pay to get your lost laptop back with all your personal information? Or a lost cell phone containing all your important phone numbers?
Do I have to do anything to get my lost item back?
We handle everything. We will have the item shipped to us for verification, and then returned safe and sound to you. All FREE of charge!
Does Rewarding Return work for businesses?
Of course! Businesses tend to have valuables in large quantities. And price is not the only thing that makes something valuable. Sensitive information is often a large concern over a laptop or cell phone being lost. How does Rewarding Return protect my privacy?

Does Rewarding Return deter theft?
Yes it does. Police say that labels reduce "opportunistic" theft, make it harder to resell stolen goods, and greatly aid in identifying owners of recovered property
Why would someone return my valuable things?
One word: REWARD! Plus there are plenty of people that would like to return lost items but have no idea how to since there is no identification information on it. Our service gives finders an a easy decision to make.
How do I delete a label?
Why would you want to? Even if you no longer subscribe to Rewarding Return, we will still notify you if your lost item is found. However, to receive the item back we will require you to pay a modest shipping, handling and processing fee of $40. Deleting any label can be done by contacting us via email: support@rewardingreturn.com.
How do I activate more labels under my account if I am already a registered customer?
That's easy. If you've already purchased and received your new labels, just login with your email and password HERE. Then click on the activate button and go from there. Each additional label will be activated under your current account. If you would like them to be separate, simply create a new account and user name for the new label(s).
Can I get all my labels with the same Owner Number?
No - This is because each label needs to have its own individual number so that we can link it back to a specific item.
Some of the letters on the labels look like numbers. How can I tell the difference?
All Rewarding Return labels have 8 character codes. The first 4 characters are numbers and the second 4 characters are CAPITAL letters.
How do I change the description of the item I have registered?
Log in and click "Edit Info" next to the item who's description you would like to change.
I'm a long-time Rewarding Return customer. Has my protection changed?
It has not - but you will receive an email prior to any changes
Am I still protected after my coverage expires?
You are, but you will not be eligible for the the free recovery service. Your item will require a $40 shipping, handling, and processing fee in order to be shipped back to you. So, you are better off just renewing your subscription!
How do I apply labels?
Make sure the item face is clean. Peel off the label, place it on the item. It's best to let it rest and adhere for 24 hours
Can I reuse a label?
No. These labels are meant to stick to one item only. Peeling off and re-using it will likely result in it not adhering properly.
Does Rewarding Return work Internationally?
Yes it does! Anywhere with internet and phones
I found someone's item. What do I do?
Enter the ID number located in the middle of the label in the bottom right box on our homepage or click here. You will receive further instructions from there to receive your reward! Congratulations and thanks for returning the item you found!
Will I be reimbursed for shipping the lost item back?
You bet you will! On top of your reward, you will be reimbursed for the money you spent on shipping the item back. Just photocopy the shipping slip and fax it to us here: (877) 624-0556
What do I need to do to receive my reward?
After you've returned the lost item and it is verified, provide us with you PayPal account info (Sign up for free here) and you will receive your reward payment.
I received a free label by returning someone's lost item. What do I do?
First of all, thank you! You helped someone get their lost item back and make our service successful. For that, we're giving you a free YEAR by using your included coupon code upon checkout.
What is my Authorization Code and where do I find it?
The authorization code is required when activating your sticker to ensure that your label and private information is registered safely and remains secure. You can find your authorization code on the bottom of the invoice that was included in the envelope with your order. The authorization code is a series of 12 random letters that is specific to your order. Attempting to use a different authorization code for your order will result in an error when activating your labels. It is important that you hold onto your invoice containing the authorization code until you have activated all of your Rewarding Return labels purchased at that time. Any future orders you make will come with a new authorization code to be used specifcally for those new labels being ordered.
If you ordered more than 1 label with your order, you will be using your authorization code more than once to activate each Label. Therefore, if you ordered 4 labels, your Authorization Code will be used 4 times - once for each labels activation.
What is the difference between my ID # and my Authorization Code?
Your ID # is located on your Rewarding Return label. This ID # is what we will use to trace your lost item back to you. The ID # is used to keep your personal information private. Your Authorization Code is located on your invoice that came with your order. This will only be used when activating your labels. Withing a single order, the same authorization code will be used once for each individual labels activation.
Will I need a new Authorization Code when renewing my labels?
No. After all your Rewarding Return labels have been activated, your authorization code has done it's job and you will no longer need it. Renewing your labels can be done by logging into your account and going to the "Update Payment" section, or simply by checking the box that says "Auto-renew my labels" within your account tab.
